Our membership is made up of professional women in a wide variety of industries with the common interest in having a network of business women like ourselves. We gain from knowing each other as friends, people, business women, and inspiration.

Membership includes monthly breakfast meetings with many exciting speakers this year. Our programs that will be offered are detailed under Programs on the website. Our meetings and programs are fun, educational, and serves to form bonds.

Our programming year is 12 months, from June to June. General Meetings run from September through June and other events run throughout the 12 months.

 

Annual Dues

 

Annual dues are $290. WBG dues run from September through June. Dues are pro-rated for new members joining mid year, please contact membership committee for additional information.

New prospective members may attend up to 2 meetings as a guest before you are required to become a WBG Connects member. This does not apply to former WBG members. 

Former WBG Members may attend up to 2 WBG meetings/events for a $40 drop-in fee for each meeting/event.

Value of WBG Membership

WBG provides many opportunites to grow your network and expand your reach through our membership. Below are various WBG offerings that you can partake in as a member:
  • General Meetings

    • WBG general meetings follow an itinery. This includes open networking, Member News/Updates, News to Share, Table Networking, and our Featured Speaker (always impressive!). General Meetings occur once a month, always the second Friday of the month- same place & time, and is a great way to show face and stay in touch.
  • Revolving Luncheons

    • As a member you may opt into bi-monthly rotations to meet a small group of members (between 4-8) for a lunch date. Hosted by a facilitator, these luncheons allow for more personal conversations and deepens member connections. There is a business related topic that each participant gets to speak towards to help others understand more of your goals and how we can best support each other.
  • Business Forums

    • This is a quarterly opportunity to showcase WBG member services as a resource to business related topics. Topics are chosen based on feedback and interest from members.
  • After Hours Events

    • We are constantly on the look out to organize events that are more fun and social for our members such as drinks after work, cross country skiing, mueseum dates- we are always open to creating new ways to network!
  • News to Share

    • Take advantage of our general meetings and newsletter to get infront of members. Use this outlet to share a current project, success, or need that you have going on in your business or personal life that members could help with or help you celebrate.
  • Facebook Promotional Page

    • We have a coordornator who will happily share any news you have to our member’s page on facebook. This is a frequently visited outlet that we encourage all members to take advantage of.
  • Custom Events

    • We try to be as flexible as possible to help support our members. If you have an event/special that you are running, we are happy to market it on our outlets. We have also worked with members to organize an event through After Hours if you have an idea you’d like to offer WBG. For example if you wished to have afternoon tea at your home for members, or invite members for an afternoon of shopping in town, we would support you in marketing that event.
